At the development stage, we assist with land and infrastructure arrangements, including leases, easements, rights of way and access agreements, as well as matters relating to grid connection and project infrastructure. We draft and negotiate key project documentation, including construction and engineering agreements, contractor arrangements, operation and maintenance agreements, joint development or operating agreements, and other commercial contracts governing the development and operation of energy projects. We also advise on offtake and other revenue-generating arrangements, focusing on commercially balanced risk allocation. 

In addition, we support clients in structuring and implementing investments in the energy sector, including the establishment of project companies, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements, as well as acquisitions and disposals of energy assets and project companies. Our team also assists with project financing transactions, including the review of financing and security documentation and coordination of closing processes. 

Where required, we work closely with technical, environmental and financial advisers to ensure projects proceed on a legally robust and commercially sound basis. In the event of disputes arising from development, construction, operations or regulatory matters, we represent clients in litigation, arbitration and other dispute-resolution processes.
