Professional Experience
Georgia Thoma is a Partner at Frangos Law and has been a member of the firm since 2016. She advises clients on a broad range of corporate, commercial, banking & finance, mergers & acquisitions and regulatory matters.
Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters, supporting clients throughout the lifecycle of projects and transactions, including structuring and governance, enhanced due diligence, corporate and commercial agreements (including joint venture and shareholders’ agreements), employment-related matters, licensing and financing. Her work spans a variety of projects and sectors, with frequent involvement in matters with a real estate element, including real estate and hospitality projects, as well as other sector-driven matters. She supports clients in achieving their objectives through practical, solutions-driven advice and careful coordination of the legal workstream from planning through to completion.
She has previously also advised and represented clients in various commercial litigation cases including debt recovery and breach of commercial contracts, bringing a pragmatic and risk-aware approach to structuring, contract drafting and deal execution.
Georgia has led the GDPR compliance projects of various kinds of EU and non-EU organizations and businesses and is the appointed Data Protection Officer of our group of companies.
